Realize our oneness with God and each other

Meant for Flight by James Dillet Freeman

Geese look ungainly on the ground;
How awkwardly they waddle round!
But I have caught my breath to see
Them swoop and bank and soar, as free
As if they were enfeathered light
Or wind, embodied grace in flight.
How often when I look at me,
Ungainliness is all I see,
And yet I think, there is much more—
Somehow I sense a power to soar!
Spirit am I and I was meant
For flight. My native element
Is God, and trusting in Him I
Shall one day find the wings to fly.
