Realize our oneness with God and each other

At the Daybreak of Freedom

Sunday, January 15:
During the darker days of the Civil Rights movement, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. repeatedly vowed that he stood at the daybreak of freedom. Licensed Unity Teacher Margie Hyatt drew upon the phrase of hope from Dr. Martin Luther King to focus on the overwhelming power of love to change our lives and our world. With that power, we truly stand at the daybreak of freedom.

From our own Statement of Diversity to the way we honor differences in those around us, we can reflect what Dr. King stood for in our daily lives. Through love, we find the freedom that we seek, by creating it from within. And as we begin by holding ourselves in love, we proceed in fulfilling our mission to change the world--no matter how large or small the mission we embrace.
